  27. I think this is a problem with too many open files.  Each line may
  28. be getting treated by the spooler as a separate file.  The "broken"
  29. system might already have more files open, or the "good" system may have
  30. more open files allowed.
  31. Is the spooling setup on both of the systems the same?  Or does the "good"
  32. one print directly to a smart network printer?
